Which HP part might be delaying the production on my customized laptop? - can i use a wireless keyboard with my hp pavilion laptop
I ordered a laptop on 9 / 25 and the HP Web site to point out that the production will be more than 2 weeks (18 days). Has anyone seen this much delay and what could be causing this?

Probably memory. Availability fluctuates constantly.
We see this all the time in operation. Most people think that companies like Dell and HP, a big hall full of computer parts have to wait up for you. This may in some way, but PC manufacturers are subject to production time as everyone else. This could be the RAM that was at first is pretty bad, and they expect something in return. 18 days to build a custom laptop ... Wow! Get Over Yourself and learn a little patience. You're the only user of the HP world.
I swear, we were spoiled by instant gratification, to the point that consumers in the @ $ $ holes!
Many manufacturers of custom construction of any laptop, even if under the guidelines. This does not seem to be a long delay ... usually 10 days.
