Is it safe to put a treadmill on second floor of an old house? - is it safe to use weights upstairs
We want to get a treadmill or bicycle spinning, but the basement is unfinished and moldy and gross, so he did not want to breathe while I worked. Because it is a small house, the only place is the small bedroom upstairs.
However, the house is over 100 years and the parquet floor to crack only on foot. I do not know whether she could bear the weight of the machine, one heart, let alone beat him.
Does anybody know if possible?
Also a bike really needs a stable, flat land base consists of two horizontal bars?
Thank you! :)

If the home can support one or two.
You're right on the floor must be level, instead. If the land is hilly just slipped under a piece of carpet under the wheel and help small problems on the ground.
